Referees Return

I wanted to send this note in advance of our next meeting and any return to Sheffield for officiating.

Given the events in recent times, we understand that there will be a closer dialogue to improve reporting mechanisms and a closer working relationship between clubs and officials to the betterment of our sport.

I understand that a return to Sheffield brings with it some trepidation, and I want to assure you that we welcome you with our trust in you as professionals and that you are respected accordingly.

Equally, we would ask that you put your trust in us to allow you to do your roles with integrity without fear of reprisal and to assure you of our protection against any of your concerns whist in our venue.

We look forward to working with you in the future where together we can build a positive environment.
