Qualification requirements: 96 UCAS Points & GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or 4 (Equivalent).
The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks Blended Learning Programme offers a flexible and progressive route into higher education, designed to fit alongside professional, sporting, and personal commitments. Delivered by Sheffield Hallam University and facilitated by the Sheffield Sharks, this programme combines academic study with applied, real-world experience within a professional sports organisation.
Through this blended approach, learners gain direct insight into the modern sports industry while developing practical skills in a live, professional environment. The programme is designed to support individuals who want to learn while working, gaining experience and building networks within elite sport and related industries.

The course is really informative and I’m really enjoying being part of it.

Structured learning support through the Academy for a minimum of 9 hours per week
Work-based learning through industry experiences provided by the Academy and partner organisations, including B. Braun Sheffield Sharks
Through direct access to a professional sports club, students can observe and contribute to matchday operations, event delivery, commercial activity, and fan engagement, effectively bridging the gap between academic theory and professional practice.
This blended learning model enables students to develop a holistic understanding of Sport Business Management, combining academic study with meaningful, hands-on experience in professional sport. The partnership with B. Braun Sheffield Sharks, alongside exposure to a diverse network of industry partners, equips students with practical insight, professional networks, and transferable skills that significantly enhance employability across sport and wider industry sectors.
