Super League Basketball Championship
The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks hope it will be a particularly ‘good’ Friday as Leicester Riders come to the Canon Medical Arena for some Easter holiday hoops. The Sharks will be looking to recreate the standard of play they experienced at the end of that magnificent overtime win over Surrey last week as the drive towards playoff seedings continues. The Riders are currently in seventh position in the table with a 10-13 record and despite not lighting up the court as they usually do this season, they always remain a dangerous prospect while Coach Rob Paternostro is at the helm. With tickets for this one at just £10, the SharkNation are in line for an affordable Easter holiday treat!

Ones To Watch
Travis Evee – Was the creator supreme in the Riders latest game in Manchester with 8 assists to go with 16 points. Couldn’t stop Leicester sliding to a three point defeat however.
Flynn Boardman-Raffet – Had a career performance in the North West, going off for 35 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Now wearing the captain’s armband but couldn’t stop the Riders going down by 89-86.
Aaron Menzies – Giant centre who is a huge presence in the paint. Went 7 of 9 from inside to finish with 14 points and 7 boards. Has represented Great Britain at international level.
Nate Martin – A consistent factor for Leicester in a difficult season so far. Came up with 8 points and 8 rebounds in Manchester which isn’t too far removed from his 9.2 point, 7.8 rebound season average.

Shark Bites
The Sharks play the Riders three times in their final seven regular season games, having not met since the second game of the campaign way back on September 26th last year.
Nick Kern Jr loves life in the paint! His 108 two point shots made ranks fourth in the SLB stats charts. No Leicester player makes the top ten.
If Nick likes a two, Dirk loves a three! Dirk Williams has found the net from deep on 61 occasions so far this season, making him the fifth most-productive player from deep in the league. Raequan Battle, who has now left the Riders, ranks eighth.
Rodney Chatman III has been successful 91 times when he has been sent to the free throw line (4th most successful in the league). Spencer Johnson head up the Riders charge with 66.
