Cheshire Phoenix came from behind to pull out an important win over DBL Sharks Sheffield in the race for the Play-Offs.
Ben Thomas’ side join the Sharks in joint-fifth place with both sides now at 12-12 ahead of the final stretch of the league campaign.

Turning point – The Sharks looked in control leading by 12 at 48-60 late in the third, but Cheshire rallied with a 14-0 burst across quarters to take the lead. They needed a further 12-2 run capped by consecutive threes from Latinovic to lead by five in the final minute and they wrapped up the win.
Key stat – Cheshire had almost half the number of turnovers (8:15) as their opponents and shot at a high-level once again with 56% accuracy with 26 points coming in the fourth.
Game hero(es) – Latinovic led the way for the home side with a game-high of 25 points in the win, while Gettys added 16 points on 7 of 8 shooting along with seven rebounds and six assists.
