The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks are proud to announce an exciting new collaboration with Alex Acker and Hard2AckRight, bringing world-class basketball expertise and player development opportunities to our programme, with a 3-day camp from Wednesday 12th - Friday 14th August 2026 at the Canon Medical Arena.
Acker's playing career speaks for itself. After reaching the NBA with the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers, he went on to enjoy a distinguished European career, competing at the highest level of international basketball, including the EuroLeague with some of the continent's most prestigious clubs, including FC Barcelona and Olympiacos.
Today, through Hard2AckRight, Alex works with aspiring and elite players across Europe, leading high-performance camps and development programmes, while also contributing to international player pathways through involvement with NBA International Camps. His experience developing athletes in professional environments around the world makes him uniquely positioned to help the next generation maximise their potential.
This partnership is about far more than improving skills on the court. Together, we aim to provide players with access to elite-level coaching, technical development, basketball IQ training, leadership education, and the mental tools required to perform consistently at the highest level. From decision-making and resilience to professionalism and preparation, players will gain insights drawn directly from a career spent competing and succeeding on the global stage.

The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks are delighted to partner with Alex Acker and Hard2AckRight for an exclusive 3-Day Elite Development Camp, taking place on 12th, 13th & 14th August.
Alex Acker's basketball journey has taken him to the very top of the game. From playing in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers to competing in the EuroLeague against the best players and teams in Europe, Acker has experienced what it takes to succeed at the highest level of professional basketball.
This camp is designed to give players far more than just basketball drills. Across three intensive days, participants will benefit from:
