Rodney Glasgow Jr Sustains Injury in the Off-Season
Sheffield, UK – July 14, 2023 – The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks of the British Basketball League regretfully announce that professional basketball player Rodney Glasgow Jr has sustained an achilles injury. As a result, Glasgow will be out of action for a period of time.
Upon assessment by the team’s medical staff, it was determined that Rodney Glasgow Jr had to undergo surgery. The injury will require a period of rest, rehabilitation, and gradual recovery before he can return to competitive play. The medical team will closely monitor his progress and work diligently to ensure his full recovery.
Sharks’ Head Coach, Atiba Lyons, expressed his support for Rodney Glasgow Jr during this challenging time, stating:
“We are disappointed to lose Rodney due to this injury. He is an integral part of our team. We will support him throughout his recovery process and await his return to the court.”
