Sheffield, UK - 19th August, 2026 - The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks announce the re-signing of Jordan Ratinho for the 2026-27 Super League Basketball season.
The 28-year-old guard rejoins the Sharks for the 2026-27 campaign in what will be Jordan’s seventh consecutive season in Sheffield. Ratinho averaged 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in the 2025-26 season. The Sharks’ number nine has been a mainstay in the team over recent years, and has become a versatile piece in Atiba Lyons’ squad.
Jordan is looking forward to returning to the Sharks for 2026-27, “I’m delighted to be back in Sheffield this season. It seems surreal to say that this will be my seventh season with the Sharks; it really does feel like my home away from home. I represent Sheffield and the club with great pride and love playing in front of our home crowd at the Canon Medical Arena.”

He knows the system inside out and will provide invaluable experience and guidance to some of his new teammates, both on the floor and off the court as some head to the UK for the first time.
