Shark Bites
The Sharks and the Gladiators meet on Friday with the Sharks hoping to complete a 5-0 season sweep having won the previous 3 Championship games and 1 Trophy game. Should the Sharks manage the win, it will be just the second 5-0 season sweep for the Sharks under Coach Atiba Lyons.
The Sharks wins against the Gladiators this season have seen their winning margin increase game by game, from 6 to 8 to 11 to 22 last time they met.
When the Sharks have a Friday and Sunday game day schedule this season, they have a 2 win, 5 loss record on the Friday and exactly the opposite 5 win, 2 loss record on the Sunday.
So far this season, the Sharks have met London Lions three times. The number of points scored by the Sharks has gone down game by game, from 83 on 18th January to 79 on 7th March and most recently, 67 on 25th March. London have a 2-1 advantage in the Championship head to head, with a basket difference of 252-229 in their favour.
