B. BRAUN SHEFFIELD SHARKS SIGNS DEVEARL RAMSEY FOR THE 2023-24 BRITISH BASKETBALL LEAGUE SEASON

Sheffield, UK – July 13, 2023 – The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks are thrilled to announce the signing of Devearl Ramsey for the upcoming 2023-24 British Basketball League season. This marks the second consecutive season for Ramsey with the club after his impressive debut beginning in January 2023.

Devearl Ramsey, garnered attention last season as a consistent player that can play at a high tempo. The 6-foot-1 point guard has a wealth of experience attending Sierra Canyon high school, playing with U16 & U17 Team USA squads (winning gold medals at two different FIBA tournaments), 3-year starter at UC Santa Barbara, and playing with the Stockton Kings in the NBA G-League.

During his previous stint with the Sharks, Ramsey has proved himself as a vital player in the squad. His stats included an average of 11.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, combined with a field goal percentage of 41.2% and a free throw percentage of 88.5%.

“I’m excited to get back! We have some amazing returning talent and some new additions that will hopefully strengthen the Sharks from last year,” said Devearl Ramsey. “The British Basketball League is full of talent, and I am excited to get back to work and contribute to the upcoming season.”
