Bio
Lu’Cye joins the Sharks for the 2026-27 season, his first as a professional after a college career spent at Missouri State, Charlotte and the Minnesota Golden Gophers. In his final NCAA D1 season with Minnesota in 2024-25, the guard averaged 11.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
A product of Minnesota Prep Academy in his hometown of Minneapolis, Patterson previously starred at Charlotte, where in 2023-24 he was a Second-Team All-American Athletic Conference selection after leading the 49ers in scoring at 14.6 points per game while starting all 31 games of the season.
