Declan joins the senior Sharks squad for the 2026-27 season having come up through the club’s pathway, most recently averaging 10.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for Sheffield Sharks’ second team in the British NBL Division One.

A Sheffield native, Kom was named Under-17 Player of the Year in the Northern Conference EABL in 2022 and earned an All-Conference first team selection in 2023, appearing at the Hoopsfix All Star Classic in both years. He went on to play collegiately for the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie.
