The 5’11 guard is a product of Virginia Military Institute and is a former standout player of the Newcastle Eagles during their 2019-20 campaign.

Glasgow arrives to replace Lucien Christofis who parted ways with the club this weekend.

“Lucien is a great guy on and off the court, but we have decided to go in another direction. We wish him all the best moving forward. We’re excited to bring in Rodney, he will add more depth at the point guard position and help round out our roster.”

Says Coach Lyons who is happy with the signing.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Glasgow averaged 13 pts 3 reb 5.2 ast with 41.3 FG% with Njardvik in Iceland’s first league last season.

“Rodney is a proven guy in this league and knows what is expected and what it takes to win here. He had a great year in Iceland last season and we’re looking to build off that to hit the floor running heading into the BBL Championship.”

The Sharks kick off the BBL Championship versus the Manchester Giants this Friday 29th October at Ponds Forge.
