DBL Sharks Sheffield returned to winning ways as they held off Worcester Wolves for a narrow win on the road.The Sharks had lost their last five league games, but move to 12-11 with victory, while the Wolves were denied a third win, despite 12 points and 16 rebounds from Lester Prosper.

Turning point – The Sharks looked in control after a dominant opening period, but the Wolves gradually fought back into the game and took the lead in the fourth with a Crawford three capping a 14-3 start. However, Sheffield scored the next five points to move back ahead and held on for the win with the home side missing the chance to force overtime.

Key stat – Worcester were held to 33% shooting on the night and while they managed to claw their way back by restricting their opponents, they came up short.

Game hero(es) – Alexander and Williams combined for 40 points for the Sharks in the win for a depleted Sharks side, who handed a debut to Drago Brcina while Mackey McKnight marked his return to the club.
