The B. Braun Sheffield Sharks match up with the Plymouth City Patriots for the second occasion this season, this time in an unfamiliar Wednesday evening timeslot. The Sharks will be looking to bounce back from a double weekend defeat, especially after the heartbreaking overtime loss at Caledonia on Sunday. The Patriots sole win this season came against the Sharks and they go into the game at the bottom of the standings with a 1-7 record following defeat at Cheshire on Sunday.

Ones To Watch

Taylor Johnson – Rapidly becoming a key part of Plymouth’s offence. Top scored with 20 in last Sunday’s 89-77 defeat in Cheshire as well as pulling down 7 rebounds and making 2 steals. Averages 15.4 points for the season.

Mason Faulkner – First class facilitator as shown by the 9 assists he dished out in the Phoenix loss. Averages 5.5 per game and has a keen perimeter shot. Made 16 points at Ellesmere Port Sports Village and puts up 14.7 per game on average.

TJ Atwood – Another of the Patriots keen offensive threats. Had an index of 24 against Cheshire due in no small part to 17 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and a blocked shot. Plymouth’s leading marksman so far this campaign with 18.4 points per game as well as 7.7 boards.

Jacob Wiley – Big who posted close to his season average of 11.4 points per game with 12 in last Sunday’s defeat. Cleans the glass to the tune of 5.7 rebounds and also added 3 big blocks as the Pats slipped to 1-7 up in the North West.
